Charles Adler discovered his interest with UNH’s hands-on approach. After earning his bachelor’s in nursing and a master’s as a scientific nurse leader, he’s currently registered in the Household Nurse Expert (FNP) program, which provides the versatility he needs.
“I like the clinical atmosphere, whether it’s a pediatrician’s office or a primary care or medical facility setting– that’s where things began to click for me,” Adler said.
The real-world experience that defines UNH’s approach has formed his whole career trajectory. His elderly practicum led directly to a job in an ICU, which opened doors to experience as a travel registered nurse, clinical registered nurse leader, and ultimately to his present duty as an FNP.
“I wouldn’t have had the ability to have the experiences I have actually had if it weren’t for UNH nursing,” Adler mirrors.
